**What is a Halyard Kit? The Halyard Kit replaces the 360 degree swivel clips on the pole with a traditional Rope System. So instead of lowering the Telescoping pole to remove the flags you would have the flags clipped to the rope and lower that.

I purchased this pole in black... Put it up myself (55 yr old woman). It has held up with no problems in 70 mph winds that lasted 3 days. I am a retired Veteran so supporting Veteran owned companies is very important to me. I love this company and pole so much I am now purchasing one for my Florida home as well. Thank you for your service and for an honorable product.
I ordered the Freedom Edition 20' black flagpole, solar light, flash collar, and boot and received it quickly. I had to contact Service First about a missing cleat but the guy I talked with was very knowledgeable and efficient and got the part to me in the next mail. I'm loving the pole sitting at the top of my driveway. The quality is excellent, installation went quite well and everything is looking good. However, the 4" cleat Service First uses, in my opinion, is way too small and cheap looking. I ended up purchasing a 6" cleat from another source and it definitely was the best choice for this fine looking flagpole, even if it is a chrome cleat on the black pole. I highly recommend Service First and their flagpoles for anyone interested. OoooRAH!
I rarely give reviews. But, must this time. I have had two poles exactly like the ones you have seen here that just fold under wind, two! Worked with a local metal shop to build me a stronger one, cost prohibitive. Then I came across Old Glory, thought to myself, do I really want to take another chance? I was encouraged because Old Glory had an adapter that allowed me to use my original hole and mount and not to have to dig another hole. I ordered and got my new pole within days of my order. I decided to pre-charge the solar light to make sure I was starting with a full charge. Problem was that the solar light would not shut off when there was ambient light. Called customer service and got a new light within a couple days. I'm 73 and it took me 30 minutes to have the project completed. The adapter fit perfectly, the pole looks professional and stately, the solar light puts out the perfect amount of light. It just looks like a real flag pole and not a weak aluminum pole sticking out of the ground. I have no doubt this thing will last and look great long into the future. I think you can count on this product and highly recommend it.
